The Sherman Oaks community of Valleyheart Glen is nestled up along Valleyheart drive north and the Los Angeles River south of Ventura Freeway between Ventura Boulevard and Highway 101.

This upscale, family-friendly neighborhood is located in the heart of Sherman Hills and residents are fondly referred to as Valleyheartglenners. They even have their own micro-neighborhood community page talking about updates, local news, events, and classes. Home to about 2000 residents, Valleyheart Glen is primarily a residential neighborhood yet homeowners are no further than a couple of blocks from shops, restaurants, markets and more, especially those along Ventura Boulevard and Moorpark Street. Following along the Los Angeles River, many homes have river frontage and backyard pools. 

Along Fulton Avenue, which runs north and south are primarily townhouses, apartments and condominiums while the rest of the community is all residential single-family homes. These properties range from about $1 million-$5 million based on size, condition, amenities and location. Most lots are around 8000 to 10,000 ft.² and homes were built between the 1930s to 2000. There are no homeowner association dues for this community.

Valleyheart Glen Schools

Residents are part of the Los Angeles public school system and students are typically assigned to the Riverside Drive Charter elementary school, the Millikan middle school, and the Grant senior high school.

Easy access to the Ventura Freeway is found just west of the neighborhood shops, restaurants, markets and more are found along Ventura Boulevard to the south. You’ll find clinics, bookstores, hardware stores, markets, pet shops, and plenty of fast food, casual dining, and fine dining options.
